Her patient-centered approach recognizes that mental health symptoms can be influenced by many aspects of life, including physical health, environment, relationships, and personal experiences. She believes in taking the time to understand each patient as a whole person and strives to create a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and involved in their care with individualized treatment plans that support their unique needs.

Background
Throughout her career, Hayley has developed a broad foundation in both medical and behavioral health care. Her professional experience includes general medicine, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, and treatment for substance use disorders. She started as a CNA on the medical-surgical floor in the hospital and learned the importance of looking beyond physical symptoms to understand a person’s emotional needs. After becoming a physician assistant, she worked for 5 years at a community behavioral health and substance use clinic, seeing people at their worst and helping them strive for their best. Working across these settings has given her an appreciation for the ways physical health, mental health, and individual circumstances intersect in a person’s overall well-being.
Specialization
With Hayley’s background in a range of settings, she has experience caring for patients of all ages, with particular interests in women’s mental health and PTSD. Hayley has extensive experience with a variety of mental health conditions, including postpartum depression, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, adjustment disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.
