As part of the administrative team at Banyan Tree Counseling & Wellness, Emu works behind the scenes to contribute to the smooth operation of this phenomenal practice. In his capacity as administrative support, he is dedicated to supporting clients throughout their time at Banyan Tree, and you will likely hear from him at some point. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee, Emu brings an intimate understanding of the therapy process to his work with the administrative team. There are few things that bring him more joy than being helpful to people along their paths to healing and wellness. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Emu is happy to coordinate new appointments for Spanish-speaking clients. Emu is originally from the Bay Area in California but has had the pleasure of living in Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas, and now North Carolina. He has a deep love of music and has engaged in a variety of musical outlets over the years. A passionate foodie and extrovert, Emu's idea of a good time involves going out to eat with friends and being the loudest table in the restaurant. His pride and joy are his two pups, Sol and Archie, both of whom bring him stress and peace in equal measure.
